Women can’t make or take jokes. Women work part-time because they have children: it isn’t a stereotype when it’s true, right? Or do we believe whatever we’ve been told over and over again? Most people agree that we should strive towards gender equality. But when it comes to actually making way for female leadership, we get stuck in our old ways, because we have unconscious preferences and biases that we don’t notice. That makes change difficult.
