Dept is built on a diverse mix of personalities. Working together, testing ourselves, getting better every day. Working at Dept is not about having your own festival or weekly bootcamp sessions (although yes, and yes). It’s about giving you the space to do what you’re good at and giving you the room to get even better. Dept loves people that take responsibility, not orders.
Dept Cares
Dept is made up of thinkers & makers. Not only when it comes down to work, but also when it’s about helping out the community. Of course, we are already working on some awesome charitable projects such as with Justdiggit, SOS Kinderdorpen and Doctors Without Borders.
As well as making sure that they impact the world in a bigger and better way, we recycle our leftover food, properly separate our trash and even car share when we can.
But we would like to do more. More from personal belief. Because although we already do amazing stuff, we also see that there is more to improve: climate change, poverty, proper education, fair food and much more. That’s why we embrace sustainable initiatives to help solve these issues. Such as ‘fair-trade’ food, less plastic, battling loneliness and so on.
And our enthusiasm is catching on! Within our own #DeptCares plan, a growing number of sustainable and social initiatives are coming to life. We know that these are all but small steps, but every step is one towards a better and healthier world. And the more Depsters that participate, the bigger our impact will be.
