Global digital agency DEPT® is persistently pioneering. In the past three months, it has invested in emerging technologies with the launch of its WEB3/DEPT® and DEPT®/AI practices. To stay at the forefront of fast-paced developments around engineering technology, it has strengthened its cloud proposition by aggregating a bigger, global team and working on new tech solutions with close partners such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google. Hereby, it aims to achieve peak efficiency and prioritize sustainability in its full range of cloud service offerings, from technology and consultancy to optimisation, DevOps, SRE and managed services.

DEPT® has been working on cloud solutions since 2014 when it was still in its infancy. From that moment, especially in the past few years when the need for digital transformations heightened, opting for a cloud approach has become more essential yet complex due to the technology’s challenges around sustainability, security, overheads, and reliability. With an experienced team across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, the B Corp®-certified digital agency wants to support clients on their (durable) cloud journey, whichever stage it may be in. By opting for greener cloud environments like Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, implementing GreenOps principles and becoming a Salesforce Net Zero Cloud partner, DEPT® wants to encourage and support clients by weaving sustainability into their digital activities.

Wesley Niels, the newly appointed Director Cloud EMEA at DEPT®: “We’ve seen many of our clients, like Inter Milan, RIBA, Triumph Motorcycles, Just Eat Takeaway.com and St. James’s Place, excel after they prioritized their cloud technology. Digital and the cloud are inseparable. While the penny has dropped that digital is imperative to business success, that same realization about the cloud is still inconspicuous. With our polished cloud craft, we aim to connect these dots for many more clients.”

“With a strengthened proposition and partnerships, we focus on making a long-term impact, while taking an agnostic approach that attends to the client’s needs for scalability, sustainability, and optimizations we also ensure the cloud remains healthy and efficient”, says Jonathan Whiteside, Global SVP Technology & Engineering at DEPT®.
