US-based Commerce Agency Melon Joins DEPT®

US-based commerce agency Melon has joined DEPT®, one of the fastest growing digital agencies in the world. Melon’s 100+ person team has long-term partnerships with clients including Under Armour, Nike, vineyard vines and Therabody, to drive the strategy, design and implementation of commerce experiences, with a strong focus on the Salesforce ecosystem.

Founded in 2017, Melon delivers leading commerce solutions by maximising the power of Salesforce. The agency has broad expertise in customer experience, design and digital performance, as well as managed services to support growth strategies, including international expansion and omnichannel initiatives. Melon has a strong presence in the US with offices in Chicago and Atlanta, as well as a fast growing team in Argentina supporting clients in Latin America. 

250+ Salesforce team

DEPT® has built a strong commerce practice across Europe, implementing Salesforce solutions for hundreds of brands including Nikon, Beiersdorf, GANT, Design Holding, Manchester City FC and many more. Melon will accelerate the growth of this service line to a 250+ person team, specialising in Salesforce’s multi-cloud solutions across Europe and the Americas.

The Certified B Corporation is known for delivering pioneering work for brands like Google, Philips, Patagonia, eBay, H&M and Twitch, and became the most awarded agency at the Webby Awards and Lovie Awards this year.

As of today, the Melon team will be known as MELON/DEPT® and will continue to operate under the leadership of Ryan Nicholson and Carryn Quibell, CFO/COO. International technology investment bank GP Bullhound acted as exclusive financial advisor to Melon for this transaction.
