Fueled by client growth, DEPT® expands US leadership team

Fueled by client growth and new business wins with brands like Google, Snap, eBay, Moody’s, and Coach, global marketing services and technology company DEPT® has expanded its US leadership team.

The company has hired Sam Lewis to lead its Creative & Media business in the Americas, alongside new senior leaders from PMG and R/GA in strategy and client leadership roles. These appointments reflect DEPT®’s continued investment in integrated strategy, creative, and media leadership to scale client partnerships and accelerate new business wins.

Lewis joins from WPP’s T&P to oversee a portfolio representing 50% of DEPT®’s revenue in the Americas. He brings 20 years of experience in building integrated teams that unite creative, media, and technology to deliver results. As Partner and CEO at T&P, he helped create and scale an agency network across more than 30 offices worldwide through growth and innovation. At DEPT®, his remit includes leading growth and acquisition within the company’s core creative and media offerings, while expanding client relationships into data, technology, and AI.

DEPT® has put together a truly exciting, future-fit agency for some of the most ambitious brands in the world. Designed from the ground up to deliver what clients actually need – unified teams that can move at the speed of business with a talent mix of 50/50 marketers and engineers. My conversations with Carryn and the Americas leadership team showed real alignment for how client-first agencies need to evolve beyond siloed services.

Sam Levis, SVP of Creative & Media at DEPT®

The expanded leadership team reflects DEPT®’s investment in client-facing talent to power both new business wins and the growth of existing partnerships. Additional new hires include:

  • Angela Seits, VP of Strategy – Former Managing Director of Strategy & Insights at PMG, where she built Centers of Excellence in Strategic Planning and Influencer & Branded Content and led strategy for major AOR wins. She brings 18 years of integrated brand-building experience across global brands, including L’Oreal, Toyota, TikTok, and Ralph Lauren.
  • Eric Druckenmiller, VP of Strategy – Strategic leader and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience at Edelman, Anomaly, and other award-winning agencies, specializing in brand world-building and culture-shifting ideas for clients including Starbucks, Target, HBO, Meta, and Converse.
  • Amy Ridley, VP of Strategy – Joins from R/GA, with a career shaping strategy and innovation at the intersection of brand, product, and experience – partnering with some of the world’s most influential companies – Adobe, Google, Verizon, LinkedIn, Nike.
  • Greer Oliver, VP Client Partner – Also from R/GA, where she oversaw the Google business globally. With 16 years of agency experience, she brings deep expertise in leading large-scale client partnerships across QSR, gaming, technology, and CPG.

We’re scaling to meet the demand of our ambitions. The brands of tomorrow need agencies built differently, with talent that bridges creative excellence and innovation, and a model that delivers entrepreneurial speed and impact. We’re building that agency. One that is fueled by cutting-edge tech and AI but ultimately driven by exceptional, innovative talent. Sam and our new leaders bring the right mix of creativity and tech expertise that our growing portfolio of clients need to thrive now and in the future.
