DEPT®’s Impact Work Recognised With 7 Anthem Awards

DEPT® is honoured to have received seven awards for its impactful project work at the inaugural Anthem Awards. Created by The Webby Awards, The Anthem Awards honour the purpose and mission-driven work of people, companies, and organisations worldwide.

DEPT® was recognised in seven categories for its work with Patagonia, PathCheck Foundation, Douglas, Indigo AG, and the Eurovision Song Contest. 

In the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion – Events category, DEPT® won Gold for the virtual village we created for the Eurovision Song Contest, which connected fans from across the globe and invited people to open up to others, to different opinions, each other’s stories and, of course, to each other’s music. DEPT® also scooped the silver Campaign – Brand award for it’s “Let’s Do Beautiful” campaign for beauty brand Douglas, which celebrated diversity with the core message of us being “as beautiful as our actions”. DEPT® created a 3D experience with a virtual exhibition called “Walk of Beauty”.

Our partnership with agricultural technology pioneers Indigo AG was awarded a silver medal in the Sustainability, Environment, & Climate – Community Outreach category. Indigo AG is dedicated to supporting farmers every step of the way, from planting to crop harvest, delivery, and payment. Together with DEPT®, Indigo AG has created software which enables this complex lifecycle, including a marketplace digital platform.

Our work for US-based PathCheck Foundation was honoured with three silver awards in the Health category, including Best Strategy, Innovation, and Product. Together with PathCheck, DEPT® designed and built two apps for digital contact tracing during the Covid pandemic.

Finally, the flagship brand experience DEPT® created for Patagonia was recognised with a bronze award in the Sustainability, Environment, & Climate – Product  category. As a leader in eco-friendly business models, we were tasked with crafting a design solution that brought its massive product and content library to life in a way that tells the brand story at every touchpoint.
