DEPT® hires Ben Williams as Global Chief Creative Officer to integrate creative capabilities at a global scale
Global marketing services and technology company DEPT® is investing in its integrated creative leadership with the appointment of Ben Williams as its first Global Chief Creative Officer, alongside new creative leaders in the U.S. and Germany.
Williams will further unite DEPT®’s creative and marketing capabilities into an integrated global practice that transforms brands, drives business growth and resonates within culture.
Williams will lead a global team in integrating design, marketing, experience, and technology, delivering brand-defining solutions that create real-world impact for clients, including Google, L’Oréal, PepsiCo, eBay, and Lufthansa.
This investment in creative leadership builds on DEPT®’s momentum in 2025, which has included industry recognition as Webby’s Agency Network of the Year for the fourth consecutive year. Recent award-winning work includes a multisensory AI-powered Squid Game campaign for Just Eat Takeaway, Signs (an AI app developed in collaboration with NVIDIA to teach American Sign Language), and OpenAI’s brand refresh.
“What drew me to DEPT® is their track record of delivering creativity that actually moves the needle for clients. They’ve built world-class capabilities across design, marketing, experience, and technology, but what’s unique is how they fuse these capabilities from the start rather than layering them on afterwards. In a world where brands need to differentiate and build lasting connections across an ever-expanding landscape to succeed, it’s incredibly exciting to join a team that breaks down silos and applies an integrated approach to accelerate brand growth and drive results for clients.

He will report to Global CEO Dimi Albers and is based in Los Angeles.
New local leadership for a new era of Creative Excellence

“Ben, Carla, and Käthe each understand that the future of creativity lies in seamlessly integrating the diverse capabilities of our teams. Their collective vision aligns perfectly with our belief that creativity is most powerful when it drives brand transformation and business growth while creating meaningful human connections.
