Creating a diverse Kids Space
As part of creating the larger branding system for Google Kids Space,
HELLO MONDAY/DEPT® worked closely with Google to develop a character system that is optimised for customisation.
We created a diverse set of 1,000+ clothes and accessories that are linked to interests, popular culture references and guided by international specialists. In Google Kids Space, kids make the rules!
Avatar builder
Within the avatar builder, kids can customise their own avatar by choosing unique personal features, clothing and accessories, including country-specific attire or even a rocketship backpack.
Creating diverse and inclusive characters
Over 1,000+ personal features – including skin colour, hair styles, clothes and accessories – were created to give kids freedom of choice and expression.
