Digital Data Architect

This role is part of our Experience & Engineering business team. We combine our technical expertise with our profound understanding of data to deliver hyper personalized digital solutions integrated with the core landscape of our clients like Gant, Inter Milan, and Just Eat Takeaway.



As a Digital Data Architect, you understand the business behind development, the key role of data and you know what works for customers and what does not. 

You design and oversee the implementation of digital architectures and data strategies that enable businesses to efficiently capture, store, manage, and analyze data to drive digital transformation and achieve strategic goals.

You support our customers with architectural designs, implementations and research the more complex digital (e-commerce) architectures and the necessary data integration setups. The primary driver of our projects is digital marketing, but we’re committed to expand into new areas like Enterprise Data Platforms that include Master Data Management, Supply and Value Chain Optimization using advanced AI/ML. “No” is not an option: you strive to solve every challenge and use your creativity to come up with solutions.



  • Apply the knowledge, acquired through years of experience, to work out complex requirements on a conceptual and technical level in one or more architectural solutions.
  • Responsible for the data flow and technical design of the customer solution, realized without losing sight of the feasibility, financial impact and operational security. 
  • Guide our customers to their new digital future and guide our engineering teams to do their magic.
  • Envision a target architecture / implementation with its constituents and roll out an implementation plan for it.
  • Prepare and host workshops with our clients to spot new technical and data opportunities.
  • Sales pitching, training organization, data product ownership, data privacy.
  • Provide other data consumers the needed data for their data models and monitor continuous delivery on projects.
  • Load ownership of execution and maintenance of major analytical warehousing solutions (Databricks, Azure Fabric, etc.).
  • Get involved into design and conceptualization of data retrieval, processing and delivery processes.
  • Combine data and digital service platforms to design solutions that encompass the full digital ecosystem, from collecting data to activating it across multiple channels.



  • 7+ years work experience in a similar role.
  • Someone who is able to demonstrate that their technical breadth extends far in the digital landscape; From e-commerce and DXP, to building and designing API ecosystems on cloud platforms, someone with great ideas when thinking of the best solutions for our customers.
  • Technical knowledge in developing Data platforms in one of the 3 big cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one of the following projects: data migration, data platform setup, end-to-end analytics & reporting setup, data warehouse setup (incl. modeling),  data activation, data quality, data governance.
  • Hands-on experience with concepting and designing data, content, e-commerce integrated ecosystems using a MACH approach. 
  • Familiarity with large ecosystem vendors like Salesforce, Adobe and Optimizely.
  • Work experience with following technologies are noteworthy to mention and might be seen as bonus: AWS (and Data related proprietary technologies), Azure (and Data related proprietary technologies), Google Cloud, Fivetran,RDBMS, Redis, Kafka, Apache Airflow, Data Build Tool.
  • Fluency in English. 
  • Being directly available to start working in The Netherlands.
