DEPT®/HEALTH will consult AUSCEP‘s clinician entrepreneurs on digital product development and go-to-market strategies.

DEPT® Australia announces its selection as a primary partner for The Australian Clinical Entrepreneur Program (AUSCEP), one of Australia’s leading accelerators for healthcare startups, scale-ups and healthcare entrepreneurs.

Backed by Federal and State Government, AUSCEP has 120+ clinician entrepreneurs in their first two cohorts with DEPT® onboarded as a key digital product & marketing partner.

The partnership will allow AUSCEP participants to tap into the DEPT®/HEALTH’s expertise in developing innovative digital products in the healthcare space, industry certifications, and leverage the agency’s marketing and growth capabilities and experience.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Macliver from AUSCEP said: “We are excited to bring DEPT® on board as a key Digital Product & Marketing partner. Their track record in developing digital products in the healthcare space is impressive. Add to that DEPT®’s expertise in go-to-market strategy and growth marketing and it’s a golden ticket for any founder.”

The DEPT®/HEALTH practice gathers an expert team in 30+ locations across 5 continents, dedicated to building the future of digital health. The agency designs, builds, launches, and grows digital health solutions for health and life science clients such as AWS, Johnson & Johnson, The World Health Organisation and Roche. DEPT® is certified for ISO 13485:2016, the Provision of Software Development Services for Medical Devices.

Evan Davey, VP Growth APAC of DEPT® added: “We could not be more thrilled to join AUSCEP as a key digital partner. We’ve seen time and again that it’s crucial to the success of any digital health project to approach it with both the users and the regulators in mind.”

AUSCEP is inspired by the highly successful UK NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme. It aims to upskill clinicians and accelerate innovation by developing the entrepreneurial and innovation mindset of Australia’s healthcare professionals to create positive change for the country’s healthcare system.
