At Meta Festival, the world’s first 24 hour metaverse festival, speakers from major fashion brands and futurists in the industry will come together to discuss how brands can build loyalty and engagement in the metaverse. Taking place on Tuesday 28 June in Metapolis – the festival’s virtual world – all that is needed to attend is a device and internet connection.

Thousands of virtual attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Innovative leaders from brands like Tommy Hilfiger, Burberry, H&M and Calvin Klein, as well as futurists from digital fashion house The Fabricant, virtual fashion designer Damara Inglês, digital jewelry and accessory platform Jevels, Virtual Rags Studio, The Institute of Digital Fashion and digital fashion brand DRESSX. Virtual merchandise and NFT wearables will also be available for attendees.

Meta Festival is freely accessible for anyone that registers via meta-festival.com. The festival is founded by global digital agency DEPT® and Journee – The Metaverse Company™, who are known for creating some of the most immersive experiences.

“Leaders in the fashion industry have already shown their intentions to make the metaverse a new centre stage of fashion as it continues to evolve digitally,” said Thomas Johann Lorenz, Co-founder and Managing Director of Journee. “We see it in how people are laser-focused on how they look and what they’re wearing in the metaverse. It’s a new way to be seen. Just this Spring, Vogue Business and H&M both held events on the Journee metaverse platform to drive this digital evolution for their individual brands. In an industry like fashion that is all about experience and brands, the metaverse is where the future lies when it comes to digital communication.”

“The metaverse economy could soon exceed the physical economy, and the fashion industry stands to be at the heart of that evolution,” said Max Pinas, executive creative director at DEPT®. “The metaverse and NFTs give fashion brands the ability to build loyalty and engagement with consumers as more people strive to own goods that are unique and irreplaceable. That’s why we’re bringing together some of the smartest brands and futurists in the space to help other brands discover how they can deliver interesting, meaningful and immersive experiences in the metaverse today.”
