At OMR 2023 in Hamburg, we had the pleasure of sharing insights on how DEPT® integrates AI and automation into its workflow to create exceptional content and assets for global brands as part of our masterclass Exploring the Future of Content Marketing: Creating User Journeys and Authentic Brand Experiences with AI and Automation.
We discussed three key use cases:
1. Personalisation through automation: DEPT® worked with Just Eat to create personalised ads at scale using a bespoke automation solution called Project Sundae. This allowed us to generate thousands of unique ads, catering to different consumer profiles across 17 markets. Project Sundae resulted in a quarter of the cost of manual asset production and faster turnaround times.
2. Connecting with a diverse audience: DEPT® used automation to create content that resonates with various demographics, languages, and digital touchpoints for Spotify. We delivered up to 50,000 assets per year without compromising on quality, while achieving continuous improvement on SAC.
3. AI-powered customer experiences: At DEPT®, we are integrating AI into our work to create captivating and novel experiences, such as using AI to generate design assets for AR Snapchat lenses and building a library of hand gestures to teach sign language. We also use AI for semantic linking, boosting user experience, search, and discoverability on websites.
Overall, our learning is that the integration of AI and automation in content marketing is transforming processes, making them more efficient and innovative, and ultimately allowing us to deliver better solutions for clients.
