War Child selects DEPT® as strategic partner for digital transformation and doubling donation revenue

War Child, the international organisation dedicated to supporting children affected by armed conflict, has appointed DEPT® as its digital partner in the Netherlands.

The collaboration aims to fundamentally reimagine fundraising in an increasingly digital world. The partnership kicks off with a six-week discovery phase, with the ambition of doubling revenue from its core donor base by 2032.

Accelerating in a changing sector

The partnership responds to a shift within the non-profit sector, where traditional acquisition methods are losing effectiveness. For War Child, the move to a data-driven digital strategy is urgent — technical barriers and a fragmented approach had previously been holding back growth.

DEPT® was selected following in-depth conversations about both long-term vision and immediate operational challenges. The choice reflects confidence in the breadth of DEPT®’s digital disciplines, combined with a commercial and strategic mindset.

From fragmentation to focus

The first phase of the project consists of an intensive six-week programme, during which DEPT® will conduct in-depth audits and strategy development across five areas: Paid Media (Search and Social), CRM, SEO, UX Design, and Content & Messaging.

This will result in a digital vision for 2032 and a concrete action plan for the first year, enabling results to be delivered quickly.
