Dept secures G-Cloud 12 & BBC Frameworks

Dept has recently secured approval for two key procurement frameworks for the Government’s G-Cloud 12 and The BBC eSourcing Portal.

The Government’s G-Cloud 12 framework helps customers in the UK public sector find and buy cloud computing services from pre-approved suppliers. The framework launched on 28 September 2020 and will run for 12 months, with a potential extension of an additional 12 months. Dept will be eligible to provide digital services in the following eight categories:

  • 360 Commerce
  • Data Visualisation & Services
  • Digital Experience Platform Implementation, Support and Services
  • Digital Marketing Services
  • Digital Strategy and Organisation
  • Discovery & Strategy
  • Ongoing DevOps Cloud Support
  • UX and CRO

Dept has delivered unparalleled service to the private sector and will use its gained expertise to take public service to the next level, championing digital transformation for public entities and the central government.

In addition to the government G-Cloud 12 procurement, Dept has also made the cut for the BBC eSourcing Portal. The BBC’s approach is similar to the Government initiative in that it provides pre-approval of digital suppliers.

Being approved by the BBC gives Dept the opportunity to provide services in the following six ares:

  • Web Development
  • Mobile App Development
  • Backend Development
  • 3rd Party Maintenance
  • Design and UX
  • Host and Operate

Approval on procurement frameworks for Dept means access to new and exciting projects. Being on a list of pre-approved suppliers provides the agency an opportunity to work on all things public, from digital projects for schools to healthcare, social services to public broadcasting.

Acceptance onto these UK frameworks comes at the same time as Dept’s German division being accepted onto its Government’s Go-Digital programme. Go-Digital is a funding program of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy in Germany. The program is designed to support SMEs that want to optimise their business processes with the help of digital solutions, as a driving force for increasing the digital evolution of German industry.
