Instagram alerts people when you screenshot their stories: Forget about taking screenshots when creeping on your friends’ Instagram Stories: the Facebook subsidiary is making changes to its app — and it will now notify users whenever someone has screengrabbed their Stories.

It’s local news’ turn for a Facebook newsfeed algorithm boost: Mark Zuckerberg said in a post earlier this month that he asked the social network’s “product teams to make sure we prioritise news that is trustworthy, informative and local.”

Instagram carousel ad format is coming to Instagram Stories: Today, Instagram is announcing plans to bring its Carousel Ads into Stories. That means the ads in Stories are no longer limited to one piece of media (which could be a photo or a video) — they can now include three.

Brands with business profiles on Instagram can now schedule organic posts: Business profiles on Instagram gained a lot more flexibility with the announcement of changes to the Instagram Graph API . The changes only affect businesses’ organic content on the network, and not ads.
