DEPT® Recruitment Process

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has turned the world upside down. Keeping the business running as close to normal as possible with people working from home is challenging, but it seems everyone is doing the best they can despite this. At DEPT®, we’re still creating and working on awesome projects for our clients and supporting and advising them in the best way possible. At the same time, it forces us to make some changes here and there. One of them is the way in which we do recruitment. We want to be as transparent as possible and offer some clarity in this, so we’ve written this short article to inform you a little bit about recruitment at DEPT® during the Corona crisis period.

Following the RIVM guidelines, we are mostly working from home. “Are you still interviewing then?!” you might ask. The answer to that is not a simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’. The full answer is, for some roles, yes, and for some roles no. For the roles currently posted on the career page, we do still want to get in touch with the best, most talented people who could be a DEPT® fit. This means we would like to have a first digital interview to get to know each other. Interviews are currently being held via Google Hangouts or using other digital tools.

Following this, if both sides are open to continuing the process we will invite you for a second interview. To follow the RIVM guidelines we will also do the second round online. For some roles we do think it’s paramount to see you at the office. For these roles we will look case by case if we can organise an interview at the office, as long as all parties involved feel comfortable with this. We will, of course, consult you as well about this decision.
