DEPT® took home the trophy for Best Agency Culture at the UK Business Tech Awards 2021.

The UK-wide awards celebrate the nation’s finest tech businesses, rewarding the innovative companies whose exceptional application of technology is transforming businesses and shaping the future. This latest triumph follows DEPT® being crowned Large Digital Agency of the Year at the Prolific North Champions Awards and a triple win at the Optimizely Partner Awards as Optimizer of the Year.

Aspiring to be the best agency in and for the world, DEPT® has built its culture on strong inclusive values, nurturing the best talent and by creating inspiring environments for individuals to thrive.

Brian Robinson, UK Managing Director of DEPT®, said: “Winning this award serves as incredible recognition of DEPT®’s commitment to being a people-first business. Depsters play an integral role in us becoming the best agency in and for the world. Without our people, we cannot make the positive difference that we aim for. The last 18 months have been challenging for us all and I’m incredibly proud of our team.”

In response to the pandemic, DEPT® accelerated its efforts to help boost health and happiness and promote positive work-life balance. This included establishing dedicated wellbeing advisors to support Depsters with their mental health, creating next-level virtual events for our teams across the world, subsidised WFH equipment, and launching an internal awards scheme to celebrate Depsters’ achievements. We’ve also implemented a diversity and inclusion calendar to celebrate events and festivals, and encouraged Depsters to take part in wellness and sustainability challenges. Our DE&I team also ensures that internal practices and behaviours align with continual societal changes.

Support for Depsters will continue to evolve to ensure we are creating the best conditions for our people, clients and the planet.
