Salesforce Commerce Technical Lead

Dept has a strong relationship with Salesforce globally and a wide range of clients across Europe. We are looking for a tech-minded individual with an entrepreneurial spirit who can harness our global experience to grow our UK Salesforce practice across both Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Salesforce B2B Commerce. 

As a Technical Lead, you will be working on developing the best solution for our e-commerce clients, where you explore new technologies and lead your team in finding the best solutions for the projects. You can explain your ideas using clear and concise language to both the client and to your colleagues, so that they can learn from you and successfully work on the given project. 

You will be joining a team of thinkers and makers, working with a wide range of commerce clients such as Canyon, Birkenstock, Weber, Bugaboo and many more. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, who can inspire the team, and strives to innovate with a future-forward mindset.



  • Are a skilled software engineer who has at least 5 years of experience with leading development of e-commerce storefronts with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and multiple integrations with 3rd party systems for payments, warehousing, product information, etc.
  • Have experience within the Architecture of SFCC and have the ambition to become a Solution Architect.
  • You are a certified Salesforce Commerce Cloud developer and you know your way around Salesforce like no one else.
  • You have experience in or an interest in learning Salesforce B2B Commerce.
  • You can translate the client's business needs into high-quality technical solutions in Salesforce Commerce Cloud to ensure that the solutions support the client's business strategy.
  • Have a client focus and are aware of the interests and needs of the client.
  • Have experience with being responsible for the technical delivery of the platform.
  • Have knowledge of at least one of the following languages JavaScript, Java, .NET, PHP.
  • Have a good experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, AJAX, and JQUERY.
  • Have experience with MVC design pattern.
