This International Women’s Day, we’re joining forces with folks all over the world to #BreakTheBias and imagine a world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world in which difference is valued and celebrated. That’s a vision of gender equality that we can believe in.
When we think about gender equality within the context of tech, it’s understood there’s a lot of work to be done. A report from Deloitte showed that in major tech companies, only around 25% of technical employees are women. And, when looking at the statistics for technical management roles, that percentage drops even more.
As part of our contribution to International Women’s Day, we’re organising a panel of women to raise awareness of the stereotypes, discrimination, and challenges that women in tech face.
But, most importantly, we’ll also be showcasing and discussing the contributions our panelists have made across digital, tech, and the metaverse.
Because, all too often, in discussing the lack of women in tech, we forget the women who do work in tech.
These incredible women include start-up founders, CEOs, engineers, and specialists all working on the frontlines of innovation to change the world. View the full list of panelists below and help us #BreakTheBias by saving your slot!
