We are looking for a Front End Drupal Developer to help us with some new projects kicking off in 2022 We’re really excited about these, you’ll be building applications for global organisations and house-hold names.

As an experienced developer, you will use your firm knowledge to identify, document and implement solutions. As well as working on your own tasks and projects, you'll work together with front-end developers and designers in an integrated team, working perhaps on one large or multiple smaller projects.

YOU:

  • Strong experience building front end applications within the Drupal suite and an understanding of the nuances for a Front End Developer within Drupal
  • Excellent grasp of HTML / CSS
  • Some of the projects we are working on make use of a de-coupled approach, so if you had an aptitude to learn tools like React or had some experience here that would be nice
  • Have Git repository and release management experience
  • Will contribute ideas and efforts towards internal projects and work as part of a team to find solutions on various problems
  • Understanding the importance of QA processes
  • Have a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm and are eager to learn with a drive to grow
  • Have a team player mindset, good communication skills and good command of English

Our Dublin office requires a Business Analyst, it's a completely new role to this part of the business and it offers the chance to work closely with executives within DEPT® and to also be a key communicator within the projects we work on.

You’ll get to be a key player in understanding requirements, documenting as is and to be documents, working very closely with some of Ireland’s brightest minds in the digital space and get a lot of freedom, flexibility and autonomy to do your role.

We have a beautiful building on Earlsfort Terrace equipped with a roof terrace, lounge areas etc. but we are very flexible around remote and hybrid working.

 

Desired Skills

  • Proven BA skills, ideally at least 3 years of experience working as a BA
  • You will be a key stakeholder within projects and a central point of contact between DEPT® teams and our clients, the role requires somebody who can communicate effectively with different personalities.
  • Strong ability in creating as is / to be documents, planning, functional specs, process maps etc.
  • Working closely with project managers and architects to ensure that criteria are met and delivered
  • Experience dealing with external clients is a big plus and an ability to manage relationships of various parties
  • Experience working for a digital agency is a big plus but not essential

We’re looking for a QA Tester to join our Dublin team. You have the opportunity to join an agency with a wonderful culture made up of creative individuals creating wonderfully crafted software for companies like Diageo, Adidas, Spotify etc.

 

This role is a reflection of continuing growth in our QA team, its a completely new role where you will join two senior QA engineers. We feel this opportunity will have progressive scope, room for growth and offer you a chance to get to work with some great people on absolutely cutting edge projects.



THE ROLE

  • Testing large web & e-commerce applications
  • Work with the QA team to develop and improve test strategies & Implement test cases
  • Work closely with QA and development team to identify and understand bugs and monitor their fixing
  • The role will be mostly focussed on manual testing to begin with but if you have aptitude for automation there is certainly scope for this to be implemented.
  • Communicate with various stakeholders to understand system requirements and specifications and ensure that the software is working to at least these standards.
  • Working in an agile environment

 

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of QA experience on web applications
  • Ideally experience testing e-commerce and CMS systems would be a bonus
  • Experience testing applications built with any of the following Drupal / wordpress / Reactjs / Shopify etc. would be a bonus
  • Experience testing APIs is nice to have
  • Experience creating test cases and also supporting the development of test strategies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment

Full Stack Developer

DEPT® Dublin is looking for a full stack developer to join the team. This is a completely new role created from new projects and clients coming on board. There’s a chance to work on applications for huge global and a chance to experiment with some of the latest technologies.

 

This is a development heavy role, split across frontend, backend and some cloud work too, we’re not expecting to find an expert in all of these but somebody with curiosity to figure out how things work and try new things.

 

We feel its a great chance to work on a diverse range of tech and large projects.

 

 

ABOUT YOU

  • Experienced software developer, 2+ years of experience
  • Ideally have good knowledge across PHP, JavaScript / TypeScript, Nodejs etc.
  • On the front end we have applications running on React / Vuejs, it would be great if you had some experience here
  • On the backend we are building large applications on Laravel, if you have experience with Laravel / Symfony etc. we would be happy with that.
  • We have other applications being built on Nodejs / Golang etc. we don’t expect you to have all of this experience but it would be good if you had a grasp of how they work.
  • We try to automate as much as often as possible, so automated deployments, devops (mostly on Azure and AWS) and QA automation are part of day to day duties.
