For our Recruitment team in the Netherlands, we are looking for an ambitious, curious and talented trainee who wants to learn all the tricks of the recruitment profession.

Please note: to be eligible for this traineeship; you are required to be living in the Netherlands.

Under the wings of one of our Senior Recruiters, you will go to a thorough program of training and workshops. Some of them will focus on in-depth digital marketing knowledge, some of them concentrate on the tricks of the Recruitment trade. Next to these trainings, we want you to learn on the job. From very early on you will be responsible for a couple of vacancies yourself, where you can learn how recruitment works!

As an Operations specialist, you make sure that everything that has to do with our Tech partnership with Salesforce is structured, administered and that all the relevant stakeholders are up to date about the initiatives and plans. Next to this, you make sure there is an internal Training & Enablement plan to help Depsters get new skills.

You create overviews and together with your team create plans for the future based on these insights. You are responsible for the internal administration and planning of the Partnership, like the resource capacity and need (short- and long term), Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Enablement & Certifications, and creating Dashboards and presentations with valuable insights to help us move forward. You will lead a technical team on a variety of projects for high profile B2C and B2B brands.   • Have at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Technology and can talk about it in clear, convincing language;

  • You have relevant Salesforce certificates that prove you can perform at an Architect level (PD1/PD2) and already there or fast on your way towards System Architect or Application Architect);

We have no servers, no domain, no GPOs and not even a system administrator (yet!) We do have Dropbox, Google Apps, many SaaS applications and a WiFi network that more than 300 Mac and Windows users depend on every day. We rely on you to help us keep this all going. You ensure that our hardware stock is complete and up-to-date so that everyone in our Amsterdam office can continue to work.
You are a technical expert, our go-to person, our rock in times of need. You will actively participate in the IT support processes with the rest of the team. Together with the Hospitality team, you will put a smile on the faces of our colleagues because you make their job easier by supporting them. You will help your colleagues with installing specific software, connecting the tap, repairing bar chairs or replacing the sound systems. You will be their lifesaver when a laptop is flooded (again), or someone is excluded from his accounts.

We are an established name in mainland Europe and seek to expand in the US, UK, South / Central Europe, and APAC in the next 18 months. Finance in DEPT® is organized along with two key responsibilities, one team is responsible for Accounting, Financial Control, and Reporting, while the other is responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting, and Business Partnering. The Global Head of Finance is leading the first group and is responsible for the EMEA International Finance Teams and the Group Control Team. While the Head of FP&A leads the other team. Both Heads report to the CFO. 

Within the International Finance Team, we currently have three Financial Controller / Finance Manager roles, one is vacant. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end accounting for our teams based in Germany and Denmark. You will be initially responsible for leading a team of approx six to eight professionals with mixed backgrounds. Some have been with DEPT® for a long period, and have grown ever since, others have joined a few months ago from the Big4 and hold a Master’s degree with dito ambition. Our company needs both ends of the spectrum since one is a true guardian of our culture and is the glue of our finance team and the other brings the professional experience of big companies that we need to adopt the change and move in the right direction.

What are we looking for

Our ideal candidate has 8 to 12 years experience in the field of financial accounting, auditing or financial consulting, and preferably has recent experience as a Finance Manager, SSC manager or advisor/consultant dealing with transformation processes within finance. He or she is deadline orientated, has an eye for quality, and flags improvements. DEPT® is growing very rapidly as a company meaning that not a day in the office is the same. For our office in Rotterdam we are looking for a Group Reporting Analyst who wants to work at one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in Europe. An opportunity of a lifetime that requires out of the box thinking. 

As a group reporting analyst at DEPT® you work closely with all finance oriented disciplines within the company. During the group close (approx. 5 days per month) you perform various closing procedures with a keen eye for detail. This includes performing trend and relationship analyses, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and verifying consolidation/ elimination entries while liaising with local Financial Control and FP&A Teams on these topics. You perform consolidation software maintenance activities and assist in operationalising the technical side of accounting including reporting and on-boarding activities. In addition, you provide support in performing IFRS reviews and cooperate with our financial auditors/ advisors. In this role you feel comfortable being critical, point out process improvement areas and have a can-do mentality: you want to solve the problems you find. You enjoy a fast paced international environment and you directly contribute to the mission of DEPT® with reports that matter.
