For our office in Skopje, we are on the lookout for a Lead to lead our team of motion designers!

The projects that our motion designers are working on are multidisciplinary and present a mix of graphic design, 2D and 3D motion, sound editing, visualizations. The Lead Motion Designer will also play an integral part of the global Design team, and be a main point of contact between the global DEPT® design teams and the local designers in order to create positive and efficient and positive working environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Explore and work within a variety of different formats and platforms to create global campaigns;
  • Generate the creative ideas and campaign look and feel;
  • Oversee and lead members of the team on projects encouraging collaboration and to bring out the best in the designers;
  • Collaborate with other designers and creative planners;
  • Be aware of and respond to current design and culture;
  • Contribute to our creative process by sharing your ideas and experience;
  • Present work internally and externally;
  • Nurture junior designers and help them grow;
  • Stay up to date with industry development and tools;
  • Build a productive and working relationship with other teams within the business to deliver projects;
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.

 

 

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Solid experience as a Motion or Graphic designer or similar role;
  • Experience managing/leading junior designers;
  • Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio;
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite;
  • Experience in video editing;
  • Strong aesthetic skills with graphic design principles knowledge;
  • Ability to meet deadline and collaborate with a team and clients;
  • Attention to visual details;
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment;
  • A love for learning new things and exploring new formats

We are looking for a Junior-Midweight Designer to join our Manchester team to support in crafting outstanding digital designs and experiences for clients, as well as DEPT® itself. 

Your time will be split 50:50 between our design and marketing teams. In addition to working on design projects for a range of high profile B2B and B2C clients, you will serve as DEPT®’s UK brand guardian, owning and producing all design work to support our marketing and new business activities across the UK. 

Working as part of the design team, you will work collaboratively to support UX/UI Designers, Product Owners and Data Analysts to create amazing experiences, award-winning designs, and intuitive interfaces. As an extension of DEPT®’s global marketing and design team, you will ensure the optimum creative execution of marketing materials, from digital event visuals and longreads to social assets and sales pitches.

YOU:

  • Have at least 2-3 years’ design experience, preferably in an agency environment

For our Manchester office we are looking for a Business Analyst to join the Product Team working on projects across multiple client accounts, both big and small, across a number of technologies. You’ll be working collaboratively as part of a close knit, fully integrated team to build and maintain world-class websites.

As a Business Analyst you will take the lead of product development teams providing vision and direction to both internal and external stakeholders.   • Have experience working with atomic design and design systems, and using reusable components
  • Have extensive knowledge around design tools, in particular Figma, but Sketch and Adobe XD will also be advantageous

Designers at Dept bring to life authentic ideas that capture the audiences’ attention. They work within many different formats and social platforms, leveraging the latest tech. They combine strategic thinking with design, illustration and motion to deliver innovative work.

Our office in Zagreb or Split needs creative professionals to help us tackle our client work. The team is made up of developers, animators (2D + 3D), and video editors, which means each designer brings something different to every project. 

The mid or senior-weight Motion Designer that would be a part of the Croatian team is expected to work in sync with a Visual Designer. As a team, the work you create should be thoughtful and set a high bar of excellence due to your collaborative efforts with each other. 

 

JOB PURPOSE

Our motion designers often work in multidisciplinary way on projects that require mix of graphic design, 2D motion, animation and/or editing. We are looking for problem solvers and storytellers who can help turn creative ideas into realities.

The Senior Designer will also play an integral part in hiring and developing junior & mid-weight designers in the team. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore and work within a variety of different formats and platforms to create global campaigns
  • Present work internally and externally
  • Stay up-to-date with industry development, tools, platforms and formats
  • Build a productive and working relationship with other teams within the business to deliver projects
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Oversee and lead members of a team to bring out the best in the designers

 

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

 Essential:

  • 3+ years of solid experience as a Motion Designer or similar role
  • Outstanding showreel and/or portfolio
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe creative suite
  • Experience in video editing
  • Strong graphic design principles knowledge 
  • Ability to meet deadline and collaborate with a team and clients
  • High attention to visual details
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • A love for learning new things and exploring new formats

Nice to have:

  • Experience with sound design 
  • Cinema 4D or Blender 3D experience
  • Experience with display advertising/HTML
