superReal appoints Verena Sandbote as managing director of the Creative Department

superReal (part of Dept) has once again expanded its management from within its own ranks. Since August 2018, Verena Sandbote has been heading the Hamburg-based digital agency, together with Volker Will, Oliver Cloppenburg, and Jan Gutkuhn. As one of the managing directors, she is responsible for driving superReal’s creative department.

40-year-old Verena Sandbote started working for superReal in 2007. Since 2009, she has been in charge of the development and expansion of the design team as a creative director.

Award Winning Team

At superReal, interdisciplinary teams develop e-commerce solutions for fashion and lifestyle brands as well as innovative digital services. Since the beginning of the year, superReal’s creative department has won more than thirty awards for their creative design of digital brand experiences.

Award-winning projects included design, user experience and the development of creative content for clients such as,,, and the s.Oliver App.
