Dept nominated twice at Google Premier Partner Awards


Two campaigns that were co-created, together with Dept, have won a spot on the shortlist of the Google Premier Partner Awards. Both Vacanceselect and the Tamedia case are in the race for an award. Google annually celebrates innovative and successful cases from the Digital Marketing world by awarding prizes to their premier partners.

The Vacanceselect case, that has been nominated in the “Search Innovation” category, emphasized smart use of data and personalized content. Subsequently, the digital agency developed a chatbot that made use of smart profiling to target users with relevant content. Moreover, machine learning was used for personal landing pages, among other things.

In Switzerland, the digital agency received a nomination in the category of ‘Display Innovation’. For the media company Tamedia, Dept created feed-based display campaigns which provided Tamedia’s audience with dynamically generated, personalised teasers of new editorial content. Within two months, the campaign had already achieved 24 million impressions.

Although premier partners are nominated all around the world, accomplishments from Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMEA) will be rewarded at a special regional award show in Dublin, on the weekend of the 15th to 17th of October.
