DEPT® has received three honorees and one nomination for The Webby Awards, the world’s leading international award in the digital sector. During the event, The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences rewards a select number of agencies that have delivered exquisite digital work throughout the year. For the 23rd edition of the award show, DEPT® is in the running for their work “Unravel van Gogh” and has been honored for their cases with Formula E, Samsung, and Philips Hue.

In the category ‘Apps, Mobile and Voice: Culture & Events’, DEPT® has been nominated for their work on “Unravel Van Gogh”. Commissioned by the Van Gogh Museum, the digital agency developed an application together with Studio Dumbar, in which the user-friendly design illustrated the story of the historical artist.

Aside from the nomination, DEPT® has also been rewarded with three honorees. Out of the 13,000 submissions, the jury selected solely the best and most eccentric cases. Within the ‘Website’ category, DEPT® has earned two honoree nominations: one for their Formula E website in the category ‘Sports’ and one for Philips Hue in the ‘Best Navigation & Structure’ category. In the category ‘Advertising, Media & PR: Best Influencer Endorsements’, the authentic storytelling campaign for Samsung received the title ‘honoree’.

Would you like to show your support to the industry-shaking agency? Vote for Unravel Van Gogh on The Webby Award’s website.

The Webby Award winners will be announced on Tuesday, April 23rd 2019. The awards show will take place on Monday, May 13th 2019 in New York City.
