Join the SDL Web Community Slack
Dept’s Tom Simm and Rob Stevenson-Leggett, together with Dept alumni Ryan Durkin and Chris Morgan, have set up SDL Web Community Slack for SDL Web (Tridion) developers.
The community has been born out of the team’s experience of seeing Slack working well for other CMS platforms, and the benefits it could bring to the SDL community via improved knowledge share and transparency.
As Tom Simm commented, “it’s already working well for the SDL MVP Slack Channel, so we thought it was about time it was expanded to the open field so everyone can be involved. Lots of SDL Partners are already using Slack for communication on client projects and internal/external conversations, so it just makes sense!”
The community is open to anyone who is using, has used, or is interested in using SDL Web, whether an SDL employee, partner, customer or freelance developer.
Members will be able to ask questions to the entire SDL Community for non-critical support, and announcements of new releases/products will be shared worldwide.
There are channels for all the different products (#tridion, #smarttarget, #dxa) as well as #tds2017, which has been set up for chatting about the upcoming Tridion Developer Summit on 11-12 May in Amsterdam.
If you’d like to join, simply fill in this quick Google form, which explains the guidelines of the community, and then one of the team will send you the link.
