    Burnout is healthcare\u2019s most pressing operational threat. Its leading source? Administrative overload. Physicians spend nearly two hours on EHR\/desk work for every hour of direct patient care. Nurses devote more than a quarter of their shift to documentation. And     administratively driven waste<\/a> is estimated in the hundreds of billions of dollars each year in the United States.
