Kijken we naar productaanbod, vakkennis en service, dan is de Plieger Groep koploper binnen deze markt. Gaat het echter om digitale volwassenheid, dan zijn er in de branche nog genoeg stappen te zetten \u2013 dit geldt ook voor Plieger. In samenwerking met DEPT\u00ae is ervoor gekozen om grote digitale stappen te zetten, te beginnen met een\u00a0brand refresh, een gloednieuwe native app en een webshop voor zowel Plieger als ThermoNoord. Het bedrijf heeft eigen showrooms voor consumenten en daarnaast is het mogelijk om het Plieger-merk te kopen bij \u2018de doe het zelf\u2019 winkels. Het tweede merk, ThermoNoord, richt zich met name op ventilatie. In Nederland levert Plieger Groep een assortiment van meer dan 150.000 artikelen aan onder meer installateurs, loodgietersbedrijven, detaillisten en bouwmarkten. Het voornaamste doel van Plieger Groep was om de digitale aanwezigheid te vernieuwen met een volwaardige webshop. \u201cOnze webshop was verouderd, gaf geen live voorraadinformatie, werkte niet goed op mobiel of tablet en was niet future-proof.<em>\u201d,<\/em>\u00a0aldus Jeroen Heydendael, Manager Marketing &amp; eCommerce bij Plieger. \u201cHet was hoog tijd voor class=\"paragraph paragraph__size--default paragraph__align--left block-paragraph__paragraph\">Aan het begin van het werkproces hebben we gekeken naar de klanten van Plieger en hun perceptie van het bedrijf. Wat missen ze? Wat zou Plieger kunnen verbeteren? We hebben dit onderzocht door een aantal Plieger Express-locaties te bezoeken en de installateurs te interviewen. Hierdoor ontstond een beter begrip van de dagelijkse gang van zaken, de behoeftes en wat de concurrentie beter of slechter maakt. Op basis van deze interviews en gesprekken zijn we gestart met de MVP. <br><br>\u201cHet interessante aan dit project is dat de behoeften en het online gedrag van deze klantgroep afwijkt van de commerce- norm. Klanten van Plieger zijn veelal installatiebedrijven, met medewerkers in de binnen- en buitendienst. Deze laatste groep is constant op locatie aan het werk. Verschillende typen medewerkers moeten hierdoor producten kunnen bestellen vanuit dezelfde organisatie: meerdere winkelmandjes voor verschillende projecten moeten onder dezelfde naam kunnen worden beheerd in de webshop en app.<br><br>Naar aanleiding van de interviews die werden afgenomen bij Plieger zelf en hun klanten, werd duidelijk dat de zoekfunctie van de webshop aan verbetering toe was en \u2018anders dan anders\u2019 moest zijn. Dit zat \u2018m voornamelijk in het <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deptagency.com\/nl-nl\/service\/cx-design\/ux-design\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">UX-design.<\/a> Gebruikers van de shop willen namelijk niet alleen op de productnaam kunnen zoeken, maar ook op artikelnummers, producteigenschappen en vakjargon. Terwijl de zoekfunctionaliteit en de webshop an sich een zakelijker karakter moesten krijgen, was het tegelijkertijd zaak om de flow behouden die klanten gewend zijn van B2C-webshops. Om dit mogelijk te maken, hebben we gezocht naar een gulden middenweg in het UX-design. <br><br>Is een installateur bij een klant op bezoek, dan is het van belang dat de productprijs niet zichtbaar is tijdens het tonen ervan en dat de focus enkel op het product zelf komt te liggen. Zie het als een soort lookbook. Tegelijkertijd moet de klant wel prijzen kunnen inzien om een indicatie van de offerte te krijgen. Voor de installatiebedrijven is het daarnaast belangrijk dat zij de inkoopprijzen kunnen zien als ze aan het shoppen zijn. Kortom: ieder persoon die inlogt in de Plieger-shop, moet passende rechten en functionaliteiten krijgen De app bevat een zeer groot productoverzicht: 12.000 producten van wel 500 merken. Dit is inclusief een productfoto, handleiding, technische informatie en meer.
