De prognose is dat er in 2030 om de 21 meter een laadpaal staat. Deze omschakeling heeft een positief effect op het milieu, maar is tegelijkertijd ook van invloed op het straatbeeld. Audi wil voorkomen dat dat het karakter van de stad tijdens deze transitie verloren gaat en gaf daarom designer Sabine Marcelis de opdracht een speciale laadpaal voor Amsterdam te ontwerpen. Een laadpaal die niet alleen goed past bij de omgeving, maar ook iets toevoegt aan de stad.<br><br>Audi zet wereldwijd vol in op elektrificatie. Audi Nederland vroeg DEPT\u00ae een campagne te ontwikkelen die lokale relevantie geeft aan dit thema. Het idee om samen met een designer een nieuwe laadpaal te ontwikkelen, is een prachtige manifestatie van Audi\u2019s merkbouwstenen duurzaamheid \u00e9n design.<br><br>Met deze campagne dachten Audi en DEPT\u00ae niet alleen aan elektrische modellen, maar ook aan het effect dat al die auto\u2019s hebben op de leefomgeving. Veel steden worden overgenomen door non-descripte grijze oplaadpalen. Een kans voor Audi om daar verandering in te brengen vanuit hun designfilosofie. Toen de innovatieve designer Sabine Marcelis net zo enthousiast bleek te zijn, was dat de perfecte match.\u201d\t<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\t<div Kenmerkend voor Marcelis\u2019 werk is dat ze experimenteert en innoveert met materialen. In het ontwerp van de Amsterdamse laadpaal combineert ze glas met zonnepanelen en een unieke 3D-printtechniek met zand.<br><br>Designer Sabine Marcelis: \u201cIn mijn ontwerp ben ik teruggegaan naar de fundamenten waarop Amsterdam is gebouwd, wat letterlijk op palen is. Het zand onder de straten van de stad heb ik in het ontwerp doorvertaald door gebruik te maken van een unieke 3D-printtechniek met zand. Daarnaast zie je de scheve huizen en de drie bekende Amsterdamse Andreaskruizen terug in de basis van de paal.
