\n\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\tDEPT\u00ae has scooped the award for Large Digital Company of the Year at the 2021\u00a0Digital City Awards<\/a>\u00a0for the second year running.\t<\/h2>\n\n\n\t\tThe judges were \u201cimpressed how DEPT\u00ae evolved and adapted over the past year. DEPT\u00ae\u2019s people-first approach was admirable and the level of support showed for its people throughout pandemic was remarkable.\u201d\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\tIn the past year, we have introduced Wellbeing Advisors into the business to help Depsters with their mental health, created\u00a0next-level virtual events<\/a>\u00a0for our teams across the world, subsidised WFH equipment, and launched an internal Awards to celebrate Depsters\u2019 achievements.\u00a0The Lock-In virtual pub lets us unwind as a team and often features special guests for talks and quizzes. Meditation and yoga were hosted throughout the week, as well as internal \u2018lunch and learns\u2019 and \u2018elevenses\u2019 catchups to keep the team connected. We\u2019ve also implemented a diversity and inclusion calendar to celebrate events and festivals, and encouraged Depsters to take part in Wellness and Sustainability challenges.\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\tWhen the pandemic hit, DEPT\u00ae focused on helping its clients navigate through the disruption.\u00a0We launched the DEPT\u00ae Talks Live series on YouTube to share our insight with the wider digital community, and spearheaded the\u00a0DEPT\u00ae Lab<\/a>, which offers free digital advice to anyone who needs it. We teamed up with Episerver to\u00a0launch a service package<\/a>\u00a0for frontline industries, and worked with Salesforce to launch a\u00a0quickstart commerce solution<\/a>\u00a0to build a fully-functioning e-commerce site in just three weeks.\t<\/p>\n\n\n\t\tBrian robinson, uk managing director of DEPT\u00ae, said: \u201cwinning this award for the second year running is fantastic recognition of DEPT\u00ae\u2019s commitment to being a people-first business.
