\n\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\tDEPT\u00ae\u2019s Senior Digital Consultant, Joe Watson, and Midweight Designer, Ali Marler, placed as runners up in the UK Young Lions competition 2022.\u00a0\t<\/h2>\n\n\n\t\tThe competition is open to under-31s and its purpose is to find the best young creative talent to compete on behalf of the UK at the Global Young Lions competitions, which form part of the International Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity.\u00a0

The competition is split into six categories (Design, Digital, Film, Marketers, Media, Print) and participants are set a brief by the Advertising Association, the official UK representative for the Cannes Lions festival.\u00a0

The 2022 brief was aligned to the Advertising Association\u2019s \u2018All In\u2019 workstream, an initiative to build a more inclusive industry. Participants were asked to respond by either creating an extension of its existing campaign or building an entirely new brand identity.\u00a0

The brief is shared on Friday and participants have until Monday to submit their entry before being reviewed by a panel of industry jurors.\u00a0\u00a0
