\n\t\t\t\n\t\tThe manufacturing industry has transformed in recent years. Unsteady market conditions, supply chain chaos and restricted in-person selling forced companies to pursue new revenue streams and ways to connect with customers.

As a result, the B2B customer has evolved and now seeks a fast, personalised and always available digital shopping experience – leading e-commerce to shoot up manufacturing firms’ priority lists. And it’s here to stay. The global B2B e-commerce market is valued at a huge $14.9 trillion<\/a>, more than five times the size of the B2C market, <\/a>62%<\/a> of B2B customers would rather reorder products online and 60% find remote sales as effective as traditional sales.

But 94%<\/a> of UK manufacturers believe the industry is falling behind the US due to a lack of digital investment, with 56% of businesses losing sales as a result.

So, why aren’t all manufacturers leveraging the (huge) B2B e-commerce opportunity?
