Bijna alle huidverzorgingsproducten zijn uniseks en kunnen dus op elke huid worden gebruikt. Toonaangevende merken in de branche houden er echter een schijnwaarheid op na om huidverzorgingsproducten aan verschillende genders en etniciteiten aan te prijzen als lucratieve Onwaarheden zoals de misvatting dat elke consumentengroep specifieke producten nodig zou hebben om de basisbehoeften van hun huid te ondersteunen.\u00a0<br><br>Een extra uitdaging was de wetenschappelijke aard van 5K1N.
