Waar het gebruik van third-party cookies bij veel bedrijven de standaard was om potenti\u00eble klanten te bereiken, gaat de mogelijkheid hiertoe veranderen. Dit komt zowel door de acties die browsers en publishers zelf ondernemen om consumenten te beschermen als de groeiende privacybewustwording onder consumenten. Voor Gazelle waren de third-party cookies ook een belangrijk onderdeel van hun advertentiestrategie. Middels de merkcampagnes vertaalt Gazelle haar merkwaarden richting de (potenti\u00eble) fiets- en e-bikegebruiker. Hiermee probeert Gazelle iedere ge\u00efnteresseerde consument te bereiken en tevens te overtuigen. Door de veranderingen in het digitale adverteer-ecosysteem wat betreft third-party cookies, adviseert online advertising agency Opt Out Advertising om over te gaan op cookie-onafhankelijk en privacy-vriendelijk adverteren. In samenwerking met Opt Out Advertising hebben we stappen gemaakt om dit te realiseren voor Gazelle.\t<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\t<div zijn, aangezien hier de doelgroep te herkennen is. Hierdoor mis je al gauw 20% van de totaal te bereiken doelgroep. Ondanks dat de consument proactief cookies weigert om persoonsgegevens te beschermen, wil dit niet per definitie zeggen dat zij niet ontvankelijk zijn voor relevante advertenties. Daarom zochten we naar een relevante manier om deze groep toch te bereiken: met de techniek van Opt Out Advertising. De eerder genoemde hypothese kan positief beantwoord worden: campagnes die uitgeserveerd worden op de no-consent doelgroep leveren vergelijkbare resultaten op als de doelgroep m\u00e9t cookies. Mits je ver genoeg in de data kijkt.<br><br>Opvallend bleek uit de case dat de no-consent doelgroep zelfs veel bewuster lijkt te klikken en langer op de website blijft, en hierdoor een hogere kwaliteit van websiteverkeer heeft. Voor Gazelle kunnen we uit ons onderzoek stellen dat de no-consent doelgroep die ge\u00efnteresseerd is geraakt, waardevoller zou zijn dan de bezoekers die w\u00e9l consent hebben gegeven. Cookie-onafhankelijk en privacybewust adverteren is een goede zet voor Gazelle.
