\n\t\n\t\tSesame Street\u2019s 50th anniversary called for a special celebration.As the iconic children\u2019s program approached the big 5-0, the folks at Sesame Street started thinking big. They didn\u2019t want to simply invite their audience to just watch some anniversary festivities, they wanted to transport people into a celebration alongside all their favourite characters. Augmented Reality offered a compelling solution. \t<\/p><\/div>\n\n

\n\t\tDEPT\u00ae worked with Weyo <\/a>to get the job done. Together we designed Sesame Street Yourself, an app that uses AR technology to transform people\u2019s faces and facial movements into animated versions of Sesame Street characters.

Kids can interact and play with the likes of Bert, Ernie, Elmo, and Cookie Monster. DEPT\u00ae built the engine for these AR masks, along with a fully customised content management system that allows Weyo to manage all aspects of the app, including masks, costumes, songs, and games.\t<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\t
