New visual identity for Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur
The merged Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur appointed Studio Dumbar (part of Dept) to develop a new visual identity. This resulted in an expressive design that makes the foundation more visible and that focuses on the vigor of children and youngsters.
The foundation is dedicated to children and young people from families that are struggling financially. By paying their fees and, in some cases, also their appurtenances, they can still join a sports club, make music, dance, or do something else creative. A new, univocal design was required, now that the two foundations have merged nationally after years of intensive co-operation.
Tom Dorresteijn, Managing Director at Studio Dumbar: “At the Jeugdfonds, the talents and ambitions of children and young people take center stage. Therefore, it was crucial to make this fundamental to our design. It had to echo energy, but also power and optimism. Together with the Jeugdfonds, we developed a visual identity that is energetic, colorful and direct. It is a design that fits the dynamism of the Jeugdfonds and which children and young people can relate to.
