As a Development Team Lead you will be “the expert” on the team, responsible for designing the underlying solution architecture and overseeing development all the way to production. You will help your team understand the roadmap goals and champion them.

YOU:
  • Are a skilled Solutions Architect or experienced Senior Developer who is experienced in developing large Content Managed websites and online commerce stores;
  • Have experience of working on enterprise .Net projects, integrating with multiple 3rd party systems;
  • Have expert knowledge of .Net and ideally JavaScript;
  • Have knowledge of client-side frameworks such as ReactJS, VueJS and AngularJS;
  • Are fully capable of designing, owning, and running the technical implementation of a complex project with multiple integrations or challenges;
  • Capable of running and directing a small team for a substantial project;
  • Informed and knowledgeable about latest developments and trends in enterprise application development and SaaS solutions;
  • Aware and able to articulate industry trends and new technologies internally and to clients;
  • Already have basic knowledge of process modelling and software architecture;
  • Have experience of optimising existing applications to maximise performance;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills – written and oral;
  • Able to organise your own tasks and responsibilities.

For our Manchester office we are looking to a Quality Assurance Test Analyst to work collaboratively with the developers and project managers to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.

As Quality Assurance Test Analyst you will implement the test approach per project to ensure it is in line with the overall Dept Test Strategy. You will review and analyse requirement documents ensuring business and technical requirements are fully understood. You will be responsible for producing and executing test scripts for CMS and web applications; user acceptance, and regression testing.

  • Senior technical consultancy for clients
  • Plan and deliver technical workshops with clients face-to-face or remotely in order to uncover current implementations and new platform requirements

Application Support Analyst

Our Manchester team is looking for an Application Support Analyst to be a vital member of an international team of talented engineers and experts. As an Application Support Analyst in the Digital Operations Services (DOS) team, you will be responsible for first and second line support of client applications. You will provide technical support, troubleshooting from issue through to resolution, and manage client communication throughout the process. You will develop and maintain an understanding of the functional and technical requirements of the websites and platforms we work with.

We are looking for someone with a passion for code and all things digital. Our UK team works with enterprise–level clients to design and develop digital products and services, including complex e-commerce solutions and CMS implementations. We work with .Net MVC, React, Optimizely, Contentful, Salesforce and Sitecore amongst other tech.

You will get to work in a vibrant environment with clever minds. What you’ll be doing

  • As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for handling incoming requests and undertaking any relevant investigation through to issue resolution.
  • Ensuring issue and resolution information is captured accurately.
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to understand, diagnose and resolve issues.
  • Working alongside the wider team (developers, project managers and infrastructure engineers), to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Working with Content Management System (CMS) implementations such as Sitecore and Optimizely (Episerver).
  • Troubleshooting on premise (Windows Server) and cloud hosted (AWS and Azure) applications.
  • Building an in-depth knowledge of all client applications and an understanding of the technical and business requirements of the application.

What you’ll be good at:

  • Level appropriate technical understanding of: ASP.NET, .NET Core, React, SQL, Windows Server, Cloud hosted (AWS, Azure) solutions.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to self-organise and prioritise workload.
  • Problem solving, analysing and troubleshooting effectively.
  • Ensuring a good level of customer service at all times
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

For our Manchester office, we are looking for a Front End Developer that can successfully transform the dream design of our clients into a well-functioning platform.

As a member of the front end team, you will work on a variety of global digital projects for high profile B2B and B2C brands. You will build mobile-first, cross-browser compatible, high performing websites and strive to look for better tools and techniques to introduce into the workplace. You will work heavily with React as well as other technologies on in-flight projects, and will provide training to make sure you’re up-to-date with the latest technologies. You will ensure the client Technical Wiki’s are kept up to date and you will continuously strive to improve your craft.

YOU:

  • Are an expert with HTML and CSS and are comfortable writing JS, ES6, jQuery
    and Handlebars
  • Have commercial experience of building best of breed React applications
  • Knowledge about managing state in React with hooks – previous experience with redux will also be beneficial
  • Have an extreme attention for detail and strive for perfection.
  • Have experience of responsive website development including component development, templates, grids / breakpoints & pattern libraries
  • Have experience or awareness of CSS pre-processors (e.g. LESS and/or Sass)
  • Have experience or awareness of task runners (e.g. Grunt and/or Gulp) and using source control (Git)
  • Are able to translate creative ideas and mockups into interactive prototypes
  • Are aware of modular approaches to HTML markup
  • Able to write accessible markup
  • Ideally have experience of building for a CMS
