As a Junior Front End Developer, you will work on a variety of digital projects for high profile B2B and B2C brands. You will work heavily with React and modern JavaScript frameworks, as well as some legacy projects built in Vanilla JS and/or jQuery. YOU:

  • Are adept with HTML and CSS and have experience writing JavaScript, including ES6
  • Have experience building React applications, including some knowledge of hooks and the context API
  • Have strong attention to detail
    Have experience in responsive website development, with good knowledge of media queries, flex/grid layout and positioning rules in CSS
  • Have experience or awareness of CSS preprocessors (e.g. Sass and Less)
  • Have experience or awareness of script bundlers (e.g. Webpack) and using version control (Git)
  •  Are able to translate creative ideas and mockups into interactive prototypes
  • Have the drive to improve your skills and hone your craft
  • Experience building for content management systems, with styled-components and using Next.js and/or Gatsby would be advantageous 
  • Knowledge of jQuery and/or Gulp would also be beneficial

  • Can demonstrate your experience and knowledge of DXPs and CMSes – Sitecore, Optimizely, Umbraco, Contentful etc.
  • Have demonstrable experience working with commerce platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Optimizely B2C/B2B and commercetools 
  • Are able to identify where to implement new solutions in live projects and are confident working with clients closely to give confidence in proposed solutions
  • Are a passionate advocate for new solutions, implementations and technologies and will can share your expertise via blog posts, tech articles, social media, and GitHub projects

Your expertise is Sales & Service Cloud, where you know the best practices in using these Clouds to build cutting edge CRM solutions for any type of client in any industry. You are interested in developing yourself broader as a Salesforce Solution Architect, and get stuck in into other tools such as B2B Commerce, OMS, Einstein, Marketing Cloud and CDP. This role suits you well if you love working with Salesforce technology and like to innovate to create awesome solutions that did not exist before. YOU:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience with Salesforce Technology and can talk about it in clear, convincing language;
  • You understand what is needed to implement and configure CRM platforms and how to integrate it with other systems;
  • You have done quite some implementations of Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud;
  • You have relevant Salesforce certificates that prove you can perform at an Architect level (PD1/PD2) and already there or fast on your way towards System Architect or Application Architect);
  • You have experience with Experience Cloud, Tableau, Einstein, B2B Commerce & OMS (would be a plus!);
  • Have experience in supervising and coaching colleagues;
  • Are proactive, and you help and build our Salesforce proposition;

We are looking for a Lead Frontend Developer who can successfully transform our global clients’ dream designs into well-functioning platforms and engaging experiences. Candidates can be based in our Manchester or London offices, or be fully remote. 

As a Lead Frontend Developer, you will be the expert on the team, responsible for designing the underlying solution architecture and overseeing development all the way through to production. You will act as an interface between the development team and the business, providing an engineering perspective on our clients’ roadmap goals and helping them to understand and balance scope and priorities along the way. You will help your team understand the roadmap goals and champion them.

This is a hands-on role, and you will promote technical best practices by example through your own work as well as mentoring and code reviews. YOU:

  • Are a skilled Senior Developer who is experienced in developing large scale data-driven websites and applications
  • Have experience working on enterprise-level React projects, integrating with multiple third-party APIs
  • Have experience building solutions with server-side rendered, static and client-side approaches
  • Have expert knowledge of JavaScript and the latest standards
  • Have expert knowledge of React including advanced hook usage and the context API, and a solid understanding of Next.js
  • Have knowledge of headless content management systems such as Contentful, Strapi, Prismic, Storyblok and Sanity, and are able to advise on the best tool for the job in hand
  • Understand different testing methodologies such as unit, end-to-end and integration testing, and are capable of writing tests for each

  • Are capable of running and directing small teams and substantial projects
  • Are informed and knowledgeable about the latest developments and trends in enterprise application development and SaaS solutions
  • Are aware and able to articulate industry trends and new technologies internally and to clients
  • Have experience of optimising existing applications to maximise performance and accessibility
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communications skills – written and oral
  • Are able to organise and prioritise your own tasks and responsibilities

As a Lead Salesforce Commerce Cloud Architect, you are part of the larger Commerce team within the European DEPT® Agency offices. This team consists of Developers, Consultants, Strategists and Project Managers, where you lead the pack. You are a  Lead who takes the content of the team to the next level in the role of an architect and who can propagate our proposition both internally and towards customers. You will lead a technical team on a variety of projects for high profile B2C brands. You will join the best minds at DEPT® that work every day for a wide range of customers such as Bugaboo, Etos, Gant, Weber, Gall & Gall and many others.

In this client-facing role you apply the knowledge you have previously gained in creating groundbreaking e-commerce solutions and digital experiences for great brands. You are able to explain your technical vision in a comprehensible language which both the team and the client will effortlessly understand. By combining your technical knowledge and experience with a sense of business, you arrive at the best technical solutions for our customers.

YOU:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience with the technology behind Salesforce Commerce Cloud and can talk about it in clear, convincing language;
  • You understand what is needed to implement and configure eCommerce platforms and how to integrate it with other systems;
  • Have experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud process modelling and software Architecture, and have some certificates in your name;
  • You have experience with SFRA and Page Designer;
  • You have an advantage if you also have other Salesforce certificates (B2B Commerce, Sales & Service Cloud or Marketing);
  • You have an advantage if you have experience with Headless (Salesforce PWA/Headless) & OMS;
  • Have experience in supervising and coaching colleagues;
  • Have a commercial drive, and know how to explain this perfectly to our customer;
  • Have experience working at a digital agency or Salesforce Partner (pre).
