Dept Manchester will be hosting the JavaScript North West Meet-up on Tuesday 16th  October from 7pm. The event is for any developer interested in learning more about JavaScript, and is a great opportunity to share development techniques.

The talk will be based on ReactJS – ‘managing state in modern React Web Applications’. There will be discussions based on the best practices and common patterns for Context API, Redux and MobX, including all aspects of JavaScript (eg. Angular, Backbone, React, Ember, Node, Knockout, JSON, jQuery etc).

When: 19:00 – 21:00 hrs, Tuesday 16 October (we’ll supply the pizza and drinks!)
Where: Dept, 1 Portland Street, Manchester, M1 3BE
Dept is conveniently located a few minutes’ walk from Manchester Piccadilly train station, and over the road from the Piccadilly Gardens metro stop. There is an NCP car park located at the back of the building on Chatham Street.

Get involved!

Regular meet-ups are held on the third Tuesday of every month,  providing people the opportunity to give a talk or contribute in any way. If you want to get involved, present or even organise a speaker to attend, then you are more than welcome. Likewise, if you just want to listen and soak up the knowledge, then that’s fine too!

Questions? We are here to help!
