e3creative (part of Dept) wins Big Chip Digital Agency award

In recognition of our groundbreaking digital work over the last 12 months, we’ve been shortlisted for the Big Chip Digital Agency award. The award recognises agencies that have consistently delivered exceptional results for clients, through professionalism, originality or innovation in the use of digital platforms and/ or technology.

Big Chip, the UK’s longest running digital awards, and the biggest outside of London are known for their rigorous judging standards and thus well-respected in the digital world. 2016’s judging panel is packed with well known digital figures including design guru Malcolm Garrett, the BBC’s Bill Thompson, co-founder of Talenthouse Maya Bogle, Herb Kim, founder of Thinking Digital Conference, Plusnet founder Lee Strafford, and Patrick Altoft of VP Ventures.

The last 12 months has seen e3creative (part of Dept) go from strength to strength on a resource, finance and client level; specifically, we’ve increased turnover by over 70%, and secured many big client wins including O2, JCDecaux and Skittles.

As an agency, we have gained respect from peers and clients worldwide for our thought leadership, intuitive digital thinking and the way in which we approach our work; we consistently create digital solutions that are solidly built on user experience to immerse users and allow brands to stay ahead of the curve, and this has been the backbone of our overall success.

Founder of e3creative Jake Welsh, said “We are delighted to be shortlisted for digital agency of the year for the second time running. We have a reputation for creating experiences that re-imagine the way people interact with technology. We owe that to our amazing, multi-talented team. Everyone who walks through our door has both an appreciation for art, code and integrated marketing – this award acknowledges and supports every level of effort our teams put in.”

According to Chronicle Live, Al Scott, longstanding judge, said: “The judging panel has been overwhelmed by the quality of entries this year; the scope of the work we have has been more innovative and creative as ever before.”

The awards ceremony will take place on 23rd June at The Midland Hotel. We’re up against stiff competition, but we’re secretly confident we’ll be adding to our ever-growing digital awards and achievements roster.
