Six Nominations for Dept at the Digital Communication Awards


From energy suppliers to travel specialists and from merchant banks to innovative solutions, at the Digital Communication Awards, digital agency Dept received six nominations for divergent work. For the eighth time in a row, the awards highlight innovative online projects from Europe.

The new digital experience that Dept created for Eneco, including the app, received nominations in the categories ‘Companies’ and ‘Mobile and Apps’. The website for Kempen is also up for nomination in the category ‘Website & Microsite’, which showcases creative and top notch websites. In the category ‘Content Platform’, Philips Hue’s work has been nominated, together with Vacanceselect’s project, chosen due to its successful and creative use of data.

The German online marketing agency Trust Agents (part of Dept) received a nomination in the category ‘Content Marketing’. For Expedia they created a calendar in which lesbian, gay, bisexuals and transgenders can easily find events and accomodations.

After the projects have been pitched for a jury, the awards will be announced on the same night. The pitchday and the awards show are planned to be on the 28th of September in Berlin.
