\n\t\tNetflix\u2019s Q1 earnings call sounded much different this year than five years ago. Once they were only \u201ccompeting with sleep,\u201d Netflix faces a subscriber loss for the first time in its history, and its stock has taken a colossal hit. To recover, Reed Hastings – for the first time – is open to an ad-supported model. It\u2019s undoubtedly the outlier in the space by not already<\/em> offering one, but given their apprehension in the past, I don\u2019t expect it to look like everyone else\u2019s. At least not right away.\t<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\n\t\n\t
