Its mission is to \u201cGrow a better world together,\u201d and one of the ways the company approaches this is through investments in sustainable farmers.\u00a0<br><br>To formalize this initiative, <a href=\"https:\/\/acorn.rabobank.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Acorn<\/a> was born. Acorn supports farmers in their adoption of climate-resilient farming methods that improve food security, biodiversity, social progress, and financial independence.<br><br>However, Acorn\u2019s original digital presence lacked crucial storytelling elements, which resulted in low engagement and dwindling numbers of returning users.\u00a0<br><br>To attract visitors and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deptagency.com\/solutions\/customer-experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get them to engage<\/a> with Acorn\u2019s mission, we needed to capture its distinctive aim of supporting small farmers in planting trees for agroforestry. However, too many numbers would complicate the narrative, especially for certain audiences.\u00a0<br><br>To address this challenge, we developed a concept to use the Earth\u2019s layers as a point of reference, which allowed us to blend their data with storytelling. These storytelling layers were designed to engage website visitors, blending visuals with complex information, complemented by clear explanations of the intricacies involved.<br><br>This is where the Acorn experience shines: its ability to encapsulate complex subject matter within a conceptual narrative.\u00a0<br><br>This new website successfully positions Acorn as a global leader in generating high-quality carbon removal units through agroforestry initiatives, all while staying true to Acorn&#8217;s approach and values.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<img\n\t\t\t\t\tsrc=\"https:\/\/www.deptagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Acorn_Rabobank-website-dev.jpg\"\n\t\t\t\t\talt=\"Acorn by Rabobank - website work carbon view closer\"\n\t\t\t\t\tclass=\"block-assets-and-copy__media js-block-assets-and-copy-media\"\n\t\t\t\t\tdata-animation=\"scale-fade\"\n\t\t\t\t>\n\t\t\t\n\t<\/div>\n\n<div\n\tclass=\"block-assets-and-copy js-block-assets-and-copy\"\n\tdata-variant=\"full-width-content\"\n\tdata-content-align=\"center\"\n>\n\t<p\tclass=\"text text-sans-48 block-assets-and-copy__title\"\n\tdata-animation=\"slide\" data-animation-target=\"words\" >Helping thousands of farmers\u00a0<\/p><div\tdata-animation=\"slide-fade\" data-animation-target=\"inner-items-separate\" data-animation-delay=\"0.15\" data-animation-stagger=\"0.2\" class=\"block-assets-and-copy__content\" >\n\t<p\tclass=\"text text-sans-24 block-assets-and-copy__text\"\n\t>From its start three years ago, Acorn has experienced remarkable growth in its outreach, helping an impressive 153,676 farmers.\u00a0<br><br>The company has issued over 236,000 CRUs and participated in the reclamation of 166,000+ hectares.\u00a0<br><br>Recently, a delegation from Acorn had the opportunity to visit a Kenyan farmer involved in one of the organization&#8217;s projects. Using satellite images, they showed the farmer his land on Acorn&#8217;s website, demonstrating the positive impact achieved in that area.<br><br>While much of this progress can be attributed to the efforts of the Acorn team, the website plays a vital role in communicating Acorn&#8217;s story\u2014and celebrating its successes.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<img\n\t\t\t\t\tsrc=\"https:\/\/www.deptagency.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/Acorn_Rabobank-multi-screen.jpg\"\n\t\t\t\t\talt=\"Acorn by Rabobank -
