QA Tester

We are DEPT® one of Europe’s biggest digital agencies, offering global brands the digital and interactive experiences they desire through the creative ability of our 3000+ staff.

We’re looking for a couple of QA Testers to join our Dublin team. We're seeking Junior, Mid and Senior level QA Testers for a variety of projects with key clients. You have the opportunity to join an agency with a wonderful culture made up of creative individuals creating wonderfully crafted software for companies like Diageo, Adidas, Spotify etc.

This role is a reflection of continuing growth in our QA team, it's a completely new role where you will join two senior QA engineers. We feel this opportunity will have progressive scope, room for growth and offer you a chance to get to work with some great people on absolutely cutting edge projects.

THE ROLE

Testing large web & e-commerce applications

Work with the QA team to develop and improve test strategies & Implement test cases

Work closely with QA and development team to identify and understand bugs and monitor their fixing

The role will be mostly focussed on manual testing to begin with but if you have aptitude for automation there is certainly scope for this to be implemented.

Communicate with various stakeholders to understand system requirements and specifications and ensure that the software is working to at least these standards.

Working in an agile environment

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

2+ years of QA experience on web applications

Ideally experience testing e-commerce and CMS systems would be a bonus

Experience testing applications built with any of the following Drupal / wordpress / Reactjs / Shopify etc. would be a bonus

Experience testing APIs is nice to have

Experience creating test cases and also supporting the development of test strategies

Experience working in an Agile environment
